SiGenix transportation focuses on component and subsystem development and manufacturing for application specific requirements. The company has been very successful in the design and manufacturing for obsolete components for both transit authorities and the major transit system suppliers. SiGenix has also leveraged its power background to develop power systems used in service around the country. These include:

  • Dead-battery starters for “kick-starting” of trains from the 3 phase track
  • 3 Phase Inverters to 20KW for on-board air supply systems
  • Low Voltage Power Supplies (<42V at 10KW) for train system power

SiGenix testers and simulators for use in the manufacturing of complex transit components have reduced production costs and field installation time. Our simulators are used to interrupt field I/O to the system under test in order to inject test signals to that system. The user can then verify system responses with known good I/O. The simulators also can inject the field signal to verify system wiring to the field. Finally, test points and indications are provided on the simulators to further enhance diagnostics.
